- In Language Arts we will be writing our final copies of our New Year's Resolutions. They will be posted on our bulliten board outside our room. We will begin looking at Cause and Effect and Action Verbs.
- In Math we will be reviewing for our PLATO test (we will take it on Friday and Monday). We will continue to take timed addition tests. Your child should know which test they are on and what they should be studying.
- In Social Studies will begin a unit on maps. We will be talking about globes, identifying land and water on a map, following map routes, intermediate directions, and map scales.

Monday - Read for 15 minutes. Math WS 3 and 4
Tuesday - Read for 15 minutes. Math WB 63, 65, 66

Thursday - Read for 15 minutes. Study Spelling words. Social Studies WS 60 and 61
A Few Other Things.................
- Etiquette Club students for January are Adriana, Joseph, Isabella, Valeria, and Roger. It takes place on Tuesdays, please remember to send a lunch from home, a napkin, fork and knife.
- We are out of kleenexes again, we would love some donations. Thanks so much!!!!!
- We have a late start on Friday. School will start at 9:30
- Eagle League starts the week of January 17th. The practices are on Mondays and Fridays.
- We will have PLATO testing on Friday, January 14th and Monday, January 17th. Please make sure you child doesn't miss school those days.
- "Bullying, What to do?" Presentation on Thursday, January 20th from 11:30-1:00 in the Multipurpose room. Presented by the elementary counselors.
