- In Language Arts we will be working on our final copy of "Letters to a First Grader" Each student was assigned a first grader and wrote to them about what to expect in second grade.
- In Math we will start with Chapter 15 "Model Multiplication and Division"
Monday- Read for 15 minutes. Math WB 121
Tuesday - Read for 15 minutes. Math WB 111
Wednesday - Read for 15 minutes. Math WB 82
Thursday - Read for 15 minutes. Math WB 68
A Few Other Things...............
- Please continue to read for the Reading Calendar, it will be due the last day of school.
- The summer reading English books are on sale at Metro Media. You will need to buy the books for Second Grade. Spanish books (for summer reading) will be sold by Metromedia on Tuesday May 31st in school.
- We will be having Field Day on Friday (in the morning). The moms will be having shirts made for field day.
- We will be having pizza for lunch and a movie as a reward for their good behavior on Friday afternoon. You do not need to send a lunch on Friday.
- Happy Birthday to Natalia R. on May 27th, Emonee on May 30th, and Adriana on May 13th.
- The last day of school is Tuesday, May 31st. The students get out at 11:00.
