- In Language Arts we will be working on writing our animal research papers. We are working on taking their research notes and putting them into their own words. We will also be discussing suffixes, how they effect the meaning of the word and how to find the root word. This will also help them in their decoding.
- In Math we will finish up Chapter 11 2D and 3D Shapes.
- In Science we will continue with our unit on Animals. We will be looking at Chapter 2 in the Science book. Students will begin presenting their animal projects on Thursday.
This week's words have the "aw" and "au" sound
Spelling Words: pause, draw, launch, law, fault, jaw, fawn, hawk, raw, crawl, shoe, flew, door, remember, order
Monday - Read for 15 minutes. Chose any 8 spelling words and use them in sentences. The sentences must be at least 8 words long. Work on the animal project.
Tuesday - Read for 15 minutes. Math WB 93 and 94. Work on the animal project.
Wednesday - Read for 15 minutes. Math WB 95. Work on the animal project, it is due Thursday.
Thursday - Read for 15 minutes. Math WB 17 and 18. Animal project is due today!
A Few Other Things.................
- We have Library on Wednesday.
- Please make sure your child brings in a water bottle each day.
- Continue having your child study the addition/subtraction facts. They know which test they are working on. They need to study to be able to pass.
- Money for Musical Costumes is due NOW! Please pay A.S.A.P.

We will be having our Easter Party on Friday from 1:45-2:30. This is not a color's day.- Reminder that the Animal Projects are due on Thursday.
