A look at what we will be studying this week.........

• In Language Arts we will be working on some suprise Mother's Day Activities.  We will continue working on an Earth Day writing.
• In Math we will continue working on Chapter 12 - Measurement.  We will discuss centimeters and then Area.
• In Science we will continue with our unit on Animals. We will be looking at Chapter 2 in the Science book. We are working on a flip book that tells about how the different animal groups adapt.  We will be taking a test on Friday over Chapter 2.

Thursday -Read Chapter 2 of the Science Book for your Reading Calendar time.

Study Chapter 2 in your Science book for your Science Test on Friday. Orally review page 60 and 61 in your science book, no need to write anything.
A Few Other Things.................

Please make sure your child brings in a water bottle each day.

Congratulations to Lizza Fernanda Godoy, she will be going to lunch bunch this Tuesday with Ms. Martinez.

We will be taking the PLATO test on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.  Please make sure your child will be at school those days.

Continue having your child study the addition/subtraction facts. They know which test they are working on. They need to study to be able to pass.

SUMMER READING BOOK SALE  on Thursday May 5th, Metromedia will be here from 8am to 2:30pm.

We have Library on Friday.

We are out of kleenexes again! Please consider picking up an extra box to donate to the class the next time you are out shopping.  Thanks Roger for the last box!

We have run out of glue sticks! We are asking that the students bring in one glue stick to keep in their school box, they can be bought at the school store for 10 lps.

Musical is this week!  Come see the students from 2 C who are performing.  Good luck to Cristiana, Lizza Fernanda, Adriana, Emonee, Carla, Natalia S. Natalia R., Ana Mercedes, Valentina, and Isabella.
